- 18%, zero-rated and exempt, chosen line by line. Output and input VAT post to separate accounts.
- Withholding tax
- 6% WHT on vendor bills, and WHT your customers deduct recorded when they pay.
- Customer records
- National ID, BRN and TIN on every customer, with KYC documents attached.
- Closed months
- Once a month is closed, only the accounts manager can change it.
- Currencies
- Separate receivable and payable accounts for UGX, USD and every currency you use, with a check on exchange rates.
- Approvals
- Maker-checker on bills and loans: whoever enters a record cannot approve it.
