Coding Bootcamp ยท Ages 13 to 19
Four weeks of hands-on coding, 4 to 29 January 2027. Every student finishes with projects they built themselves.
# week_4/demo_day.py from bootcamp import learn, build projects = [] for week in ["websites", "games", "data", "teamwork"]: skill = learn(week) projects.append(build(skill)) print(f"I built {len(projects)} projects this holiday")
What they’ll build
Each week adds a new skill, and each skill ends in something your child made and can show you at home.
How websites work, and how to build one with HTML and CSS.
They buildTheir own personal website
JavaScript: variables, loops and decisions that make a page respond.
They buildAn interactive quiz game
Python, working with real data, and a first look at how AI uses it.
They buildA program that analyses real data, like a league table
Plan, build and test an app in a small team, the way developers work.
They buildA team app, presented on Demo Day
Friday 29 January 2027
On the last day, students present their team projects to parents and guests and receive a certificate of completion. Three days later, schools reopen.

A day at the bootcamp
A short lesson on one new idea, explained simply and shown live.
Guided practice for most of the day, with a trainer on hand to help when they get stuck.
Students show what they made, get feedback and fix it. Every Friday, parents get a short progress update.
For parents
The long holiday is the best time to learn something new, and the easiest time to waste.
Two months at home can mean too much scrolling and too little to show for it. This turns screen time into making.
Five hours a day of guided practice with a trainer, not hours of watching someone else code.
Logic, problem solving and digital skills that help at school, at university and at work.
It starts after the Christmas travel and ends on 29 January, before schools reopen on 1 February.

The fee covers the full 100-hour programme, Demo Day and the certificate. A deposit holds a seat, and the balance is due before the first day.

Questions from parents
No. Week one starts from the basics. Students who already code are given harder challenges, so they keep learning too.
